GOODMAN SPEAKERS BUREAU BECOMES SILVER SPONSOR OF FICP ANNUAL CONFERENCE

-- Brings Cam Marston, Generational Expert,
to Major Industry Conference --

WINDSOR, CONN., November 7, 2007 – As part of its longstanding support of the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners industry association, the Goodman Speakers Bureau has become a Silver Sponsor of the group’s Annual Conference, which will be held November 11-15 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort in Arizona.  Additionally, the Goodman Speakers Bureau will sponsor Cam Marston, generational speaker, at the Breakout Sessions scheduled for
Tuesday, November 13.

“We have been involved in FICP for many years, recognizing its importance as a leading industry group that fosters ongoing education, networking, and professional development,” Diane Goodman, president of the Goodman Speakers Bureau, said.  “We are proud to become a silver sponsor of the Annual Conference, especially during the group’s 50th anniversary year.”

The Goodman Speakers Bureau is bringing c
onsultant, author, and speaker Cam Marston to the annual event.  Cam has worked with Fortune 500 companies and small businesses throughout the world to improve multigenerational relations and communications.

For nearly a decade, Cam has conducted extensive research and study inside businesses of all sizes and sectors, and has interviewed hundreds of representatives of the various generations. Their answers are interesting - sometimes surprising - and always valuable.

Marston began his generational-focused consultancy after several years selling for Nestle Brands Foodservice Company. While at Nestle he discovered that he developed closer relationships with his customers when he talked to them about subjects that appealed to their value systems. He soon learned that his customers had many different values but the values were roughly the same in each generation.  He captures many of his observations in his first book, Motivating the "What's In It For Me" Workforce, which was published in October, 2005.

The Goodman Speakers Bureau (www.goodmanspeakersbureau.com) is an independent professional speakers bureau, with a reputation of more than 27 years of integrity, quality, and commitment to their clients.  They are passionate about pursuing excellence while being objective, and providing strategic, boutique-style service for clients in the United States and throughout the world.  They help clients secure the most appropriate professional speakers – including celebrities, sports figures, financial and insurance experts, authors, motivators, and business gurus – for any meeting or event.
