Jack's other great books and programs are Dare to Win, a popular
self-help book and The Aladdin Factor; How to Ask For and Get
Everything You Want. His highly acclaimed, video-based training for
corporations - STAR: Success Through Action and Responsibility
which he originally developed for New England Telephone/ NYNEX, is
presently being used by several fortune 500 companies around the world.
As a result of his expertise in the self-esteem field, Jack is involved in
developing self-esteem and optimum performance training programs for
several unusual populations including prisoners in the California
corrections system, welfare recipients in California's Workfare Program,
and inner city youth-at-risk. Over 500,000 people have experienced and
benefited from his GOALS training for at risk populations.
Jack has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, The Caryl and Marilyn
Show, Talk Soup, The Today Show, CBS Evening News, The NBC Evening News,
20/ 20 and the BBC, as well as hundreds of local and cable talk
shows and radio shows. In addition, he is currently working on a pilot for
ABC called Chicken Soup for the Soul-a dramatization. Jack has been

Married, with three children, Jack has degrees from Harvard University and
the University of Massachusetts. He is president of The Canfield Training
Group & SelfEsteem Seminars, Inc., in Santa Barbara, California, and
Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for Self-Esteem in Culver City,
CA. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the National Council for
Self-Esteem.
Due to the overwhelming response of the Chicken Soup Series Jack is
only addressing 36 groups each year, teaching thousands of people in the
areas of personal and professional growth. His corporate clients have
