Rodney Johnson is one of America’s leading investment strategists and advisors. The foundation of his success is the HS Dent system of forecasting economic change based on demographic trends. 
 
As president of HS Dent Publishing, Johnson publishes and writes for HS Dent Forecast newsletter, which is known for its in-depth analyses of change and economic growth affecting the financial markets. He appears regularly in the financial news media where he is valued for his candor and insight into economic and stock market trends.  Johnson is the primary instructor for the highly successful HS Dent Demographics School launched in 2006 and attended by executives from around the world.
 
Johnson and Harry Dent, renowned investment consultant and author of The Great Boom Ahead, collaborate on demographic analysis to develop new investment selection techniques. Through HS Dent publications, they provide individual and institutional investors with accurate forecasts of market movements based on population and spending trends. 
 
Johnson has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.  As president of HS Dent Investment Management, he is responsible for investment selection as well as portfolio management. He is a consultant to several investment funds identifying economic cycles and sector trends, and works closely with a number of private companies to create growth strategies that exploit demographic trends.
 
Johnson’s career began at Thomson McKinnon Securities as a Management Trainee.  From there he continued to grow his knowledge of the brokerage industry through hands-on experience.  Johnson has held the positions of Registered Representative, Bond Trader, Sales Manager, and Director of Research.  Johnson holds a series 3, 4, 7, 24, 27, 63 and 65.
 
 A graduate of Georgetown University, Johnson is past-president and currently a member of the Alumni Admissions Committee. He earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
