Ned
A. Miller, CLU, is President of Ned A. Miller, Inc. of Albuquerque, New
Mexico. His organization currently consults with and/or administers over
100 employee benefit plans throughout the country.
He
has been a featured speaker at the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) six
times. He has written seven books on employee benefit plans plus a number
of articles and pamphlets. Mr. Miller has taught at the School for General
Studies at Purdue University for thirteen years as well as at the
University of Houston and the University of New Mexico.
In 1989, Mr. Miller was invited by ECFC (Employers Council for Flexible
Compensation) to Washington to discuss (lobby) cafeteria compensation
concepts with various senators and their staffs.
Mr. Miller is currently in his seventh year with the Nichols Education
Corporation, a national vendor of seminars for Certified Public
Accountants (CPAs) and has given 75 seminars to over 1,200 CPAs on this
and related employee benefit subjects throughout the country.
Mr. Miller graduated from Bucknell University, where he majored in
finance. He has served as President of the New Mexico State Alumni
Association. He also attended New York University Law School.
In September, 1976, Mr. Miller moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico with his
wife Anita, a practicing attorney (the former Chair of the State and Local
Government section of the American Bar Association). His son, Jon, is also
a practicing attorney in Los Angeles. His daughter, Alison, is a drama
teacher at a private high school in Los Angeles. He maintains offices in
Albuquerque and New York City.
He is listed in Who's. Who in Finance and Industry prepared by the
publishers of Who's Who in America.
Ned was previously on the New Mexico Repertory Theatre Board and also
served as chair of the search committee for the Albuquerque Little
Theatre. His term expired in June 1999. In addition, he is a member of the
advisory board of Southwest Repertory Theatre.
He currently serves on the board of MAGNIFICO and is the chair of the New
Mexico Endowment for the Humanities.
