Alan
Patching is one of the most sought‑after keynote business presenters
speakers in Australia. From senior executives of leading corporations to
sales incentive groups and professional associations, he has inspired,
challenged, informed and entertained audiences for many years.
If one word can describe Alan Patching, that word is 'credibility'. He was
formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the organization that owns
Sydney's Olympic Stadium, and was the owner's Project Director,
responsible for managing and overseeing design and construction of the
largest Olympic stadium ever built, a venue that IOC President Samaranch
called "the most impressive stadium I have seen in my life". He has
personally managed or directed major development projects worth over $6
billion.
Alan Patching personally negotiated the largest property deal in
Australia's property history, and the country's largest‑ever commercial
lease. He is the author of several books and audio albums including 'The Futureproof Corporation' and
'21st Century Leadership' in co‑authorship
with Dr Denis Waitley of the United States, with whom he has toured on
several occasions. He is a member of several professional institutions
and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian
Sales Institute.
Alan Patching's credibility and experience, combined with his finely honed
platform skills, set him apart among business presenters. He has few peers
in inspiring people to commit to choosing to make the change necessary to
make organizations futureproof.
Alan Patching is a masterful platform presenter. His presentations are a
high‑energy mix of humor, take home content, audience involvement and
anecdotes. He is also an experienced panel session or 'hypothetical'
facilitator, and a competent and humorous MC. Importantly, he tailors each
presentation to the needs of the client.
Alan Patching is a dedicated
family man with four children. He is also a former army officer, a jet
endorsed private pilot with command instrument rating and an experienced
kayaking ultramarathoner. His formal qualifications are in Quantity
Surveying (known in the USA as Cost Engineering).
