Scott Shuster, Consulting Editor, BusinessWeek
Nine years a foreign correspondent of ABC News in Southeast and South Asia, Africa and Latin America; Producer of All Things Considered, America’s most respected nightly broadcast news magazine program; for more than 15 years editorial director and consulting editor, BusinessWeek and The McGraw-Hill Companies, and the ongoing chairman of many McGraw-Hill industry-specific conferences...

Scott Shuster's remarkable background and prodigious skills onstage make him the right choice to serve as facilitator of the most challenging events. Chairman and discussion leader of the highly-respected CEO-only, CFO-only, and CIO-only summits of BusinessWeek, held in the US, East Asia, Europe, and Latin America, Scott has also led many other BusinessWeek events, such as their Homeland Security Summit; BusinessWeek's "e.biz Live!" series; The Hewlett-Packard/BusinessWeek Conference on the Digital Economy;" BusinessWeek's "Smart Manufacturing", "Telecom Summit" and many more.

Scott brings a completely new method to onstage presentation at business events. More than a moderator, he is a leader of discussions, giving direction to your meeting's content on a minute-to-minute basis for the entire duration of your gathering. For example, immediately after 9/11 the FBI urgently assembled hundreds of corporate security and systems professionals to discuss protection of US critical infrastructures. Scott Shuster was chosen to chair that meeting from start to finish, filling the role of overall moderator as well as discussion leader, interviewing White House Cybersecurity Czar RIchard Clarke and other notables. When the CEO and all nine senior leaders of the world's largest insurance company needed to present themselves before audiences of hundreds of insurance brokers in seven cities, Scott traveled with them, chairing each meeting, and interviewing the CEO and all the executives for hours in front of each audience, repeatedly. Scott chairs appearances of HM King Abdullah II and HM Queen Rania of Jordan, and was called on by the government of Dubai to host the nationally-broadcast (United Arab Emirates) television program introducing the population to the nationwide effort to host the World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings. Scott has also led meetings for the US Departments of Commerce, Justice, and State, and many corporate clients in a wide variety of industries.

Armed with an MBA and long, globe-spanning experience as a leader of business discussions, Scott Shuster undertakes a meticulous custom preparation for every event, ensuring that he is ready for off-the-cuff discussion of the most detailed industry- policy- or company-specific issues. His presence on your program brings objectivity and impartiality, in addition to a flawless professional smoothness in presentation that enables every executive appearing onstage to appear confident and at ease
