Art Turock is an authority in the field of "breakthrough performance." His ideas have been shared in Success Magazine, U.S.A. Today. Reader's Digest, The One Minute Manager series, Association Management, and Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work. A master at turning theoretical concepts into hard-hitting practicality, he hits presented to 100's of major professional associations and Fortune 500 companies.

Depth of Material
Following the "excellence in business" trend of the mid-1980's, Turock undertook an extensive study of business leaders and peak performers that continues to this day. Each year since 1987, Turock h is done hundreds of interviews, and combining these with other research, designs fresh approaches to address emerging business challenges. His programs reflect the transformation of "change," from continuous improvement of best practices to today's vital need for strategic foresight and reinvention strategies for shaping new futures.

To support his continuous professional development, Turock is a member of the World Future Society, Innovation Network, and National Speakers Association. Currently with selected clients, Art is in the process of launching the Business Visionaries Roundtable to support the expansion of strategic and innovative capabilities for executives desiring to prepare more intentionally for the future.

Early Experience
At age 26, with a Masters in Counselor Education from the University of Florida, Art was named Director of the University of Iowa's Interpersonal Skills Training Project. Here he gained leadership experience as he recruited, trained, and mentored trainers throughout Iowa. Revolutionary at the time, his training of trainers approach was designed to motivate participants to test their limits. The program became a prototype for statewide interpersonal skills training for many years.

Motivated by his father's triple bypass surgery in 1983, Art wrote Getting Physical: How to Stick With Your Exercise Program, a book for the thousands who know what they need to do to be physically fit, but lack the motivational tools for consistently making healthy choices. Applying these motivational ideas to business, Art created his `Sustaining Exceptional Performance' series of training programs and keynote lectures.

Perspective, Knowledge
As someone who has periodically reinvented himself; from graduate student to training project director, from regional corporate wellness consultant to international speaker, and today as an advisor to business visionaries, Art Turock speaks from personal experience, tested knowledge, and wide perspective.
